Stoneham Armed Robbery

Around 10:30 PM Stoneham PD responded to the Dairy Queen at 427 Main Street for a report of a robbery that just occurred. Officers were told the suspect was described as a male subject wearing a plastic mask with "some type of drawing" on it. Based on radio transmissions; as officers were viewing the video, they determined the suspect had what appeared to be a "large" handgun. The suspect then fled in a black sedan down Franklin Street towards Melrose. Surrounding departments were notified via the BAPERN radio system and teletype. No arrests have been made in connection to the incident.
