Billerica accident sends 1 to the hospital

Around 8 PM this evening it was reported via twitter from @Billericapd that a vehicle struck a tree on Pollard St. The Jaws of Life were used to extricate the victim from the vehicle and was transported to an area hospital for treatment of injuries sustained in the crash. Based on scanner transmissions it was also reported that the State Police accident reconstruction team had also been requested to respond. Post will be updated when more information becomes available
