Brookline fire fighters responded to house fire

Just after 12:30 this afternoon Brookline fire fighters were called to 22 York Terrace for a report of smoke coming from the roof. Upon arrival they reported fire inside of a dwelling and began stretching lines. Updates to follow.

Update: At 12:49 the deputy arrived and requested the working fire bringing an additional engine company to the scene. The fire was said to be in a 2.5 story woodframe. It was reported that shortly after that the bulk of the heavy fire was knocked down & companies were going to begin overhaul. No injuries have been reported at this time.
