Late AM fire tears through Natick Home

Shortly after 11:30 this morning Natick fire department officials were called to 1 Birch Rd for a report of a fire. The call originally came in for a kitchen fire. Upon arrival companies ordered a 2nd alarm and removed one occupant from the structure with burns covering a percentage of his body and transported to the Mass General Hospital in Boston. At this point in time it is not clear what caused the fire and an investigation is underway.
