Around 2 PM this afternoon Boston Police and EMS crews responded to the area of 24 Trull St in the Dorchester section for a reported shooting. Crews located a victim in the rear of 24 Trull St. The officer in charge of the scene requested full notifications to be made which means injuries are considered to be serious and life threatening. Detectives were requested to process the scene. While district units were here processing evidence and interviewing witnesses the EDT'S (Emergency Deployment Teams) were activated to handle calls in the district.
Update 9:30 pm: The victim was transported to the Boston Medical Center with multiple gun shot wounds. He was pronounced deceased. Reports indicate the victim was a male in his 20's. Actual ID has not been released at this time & no arrests have been made.
