Boston Ladder truck involved in hit/run

Around 7:45 this evening Tower Ladder 10 reported that they were involved in a collision with a passenger car on Forest Hills St near Glen Rd in the Jamaica Plain neighborhood of Boston. The vehicle fled the scene; it was described as a black sedan with Florida plates and had a white male operator. The ladder truck actually pursued the car up Forest Hills St where the fire fighters caught up with the car by Cemetery Rd where they exited the apparatus and the vehicle struck a member. No serious injuries were reported and the fire fighter was just shaken up. The ladder truck returned to quarters were EMS & the department photographer (K7) were dispatched. State police also responded to assist at the scene. The suspect vehicle was also wanted in connection to a hit/run in another part of the city
