Serious crash sends multiple victims to hospital

Around 1:30 this morning Boston's first responders were called to Columbus Ave & Heath St for a reports of a motor vehicle accident. When they arrived they discovered 2 vehicles spread across a section of Columbus Ave. The collision was between a minivan and a sedan. Boston EMS reported they had 1 victim in traumatic arrest and immediately went to work with the assistance of Engine company 42. Rescue 2 reported they had 1 victim ejected from the sedan and was laying on the sidewalk. There were 4 other victims that were c-spined and transported with an assortment of injuries. The scene was held well into the morning so investigators could piece together the sequence of events leading up to the accident.
