Stoneham Rollover sends 4 to hospital

Around 8:30 PM tonight troopers as well as the Medford & Stoneham Fire departments were called to I-93 in the area of Spot Pond. Numerous callers to 911 stated the vehicle went from the northbound travel lanes over the guardrail and into the southbound travel lanes. All lanes were temporarily stopped on the southbound side and 2 left lanes were taken northbound for the crash response and investigation. When I got on scene it was exactly as the scanner said "vehicle went from NB to SB". An SUV was on it's roof and 4 victims were entrapped inside the flipped over car 1 of which was a child in a car seat. All occupants were transported to area hospitals. There was 1 adult female that was transported to Mass General Hospital in Boston for treatment of injuries that were described as serious but non-life threatening. I was told by a trooper that photo/recon was not needed because the injuries weren't "life threatening". Kens towing was on scene for vehicle removal and all travel lanes were open around 9:30.
