Lawrence firefighters battle early evening fire

Shortly after 7PM Lawrence fire fighters responded to 52 Farnham St off of Route 114 for reports of a fire on arrival engine 9 reported they had visible smoke and fire showing from a 2.5 story -5 family structure. They immediately went to work and car 21 arrived and ordered the 2nd alarm bringing an Andover engine to the city for a cover assignment. Fire was contained to the top floor of the structure and no injuries have been reported.
