Quincy bank robbery

Around 12 pm today Quincy PD responded to reports of a robbery that occurred at the Bridgewater Credit Union located at 62 Clay St. Officers quickly responded to the scene and began getting the suspects description from possible witnesses. Once enough information was provided to them from bank employees they broadcasted a BOLO (Be On the Lookout) for a white male with black clothing. The suspect stated he had a gun but one was never displayed. An undetermined amount of cash was taken. It was being reported within 15 minutes of the BOLO going out from a nearby transit PD officer that they had a possible suspect stopped and they were questioning him just a few miles away from the scene at the Wollaston MBTA station.
