Firefighters battle early evening brush fire in Lynn

Once again early yesterday evening April the 13th firefighters converged on 810 Lynnway for a reported brush fire. Upon arrival engine companies reported an extensive area of roughly 2-3 acres going at the site of the former Harbour House Hotel. District Chief Jim McDonald stated that companies remained on the scene for close to 2.5 hours while they doused hot spots. He also stated that despite the small amount of rain that was received in the recent day was of little help & the threat remains significant.
