Shortly before 1 AM on April 9th Canton PD tried to initiate a vehicle stop in their city. The operator failed to stop & took off leading a chase that ended in a car crash on Washington Street in Norwood. The subject did flee the scene but was quickly apprehended by officers. Norfolk county sheriff K9 unit also assisted at the scene. The subject was transported to an area hospital with injuries from the incident & later transported to the police station on booking on charges relevant to the incident.
