Bomb Threat at Springfield nightclub

Around 11 PM last night the Springfield police and fire departments responded to the Hippodrome night club on Main Street for a report of a bomb threat received via telephone from the Burger King on State St. Officers were subsequently dispatched to that location & were unable to locate the caller. Police and fire officials did search the building & came up empty handed. Evacuations were not ordered of the club and the event scheduled continued without any interruptions.
