Stoughton firefighters are currently battling a house fire on Winfisky Drive. The second alarm has been ordered and mutual aid is responding to the scene & into the town for coverage. No injuries have been reported at this time. Updates posted as they become available.
Update: 2:55 PM-Heavy fire has been reported in the basement of the home with dark smoke issuing from the building. The fire is doubtful will hold at this time. Canton engine 6 and an Avon engine is at the scene assisting with manpower.
Update: 3:15 PM-The fire has been reported knocked down. No injuries to civilians or firefighters have been reported
