Shortly after 7:30 tonight; Medford police & fire departments as well as the State Police responded to a report of a collision on Middlesex Avenue near the Malden city line. 1 occupant was transported to the Mass General Hospital in Boston for treatment of injuries sustained during the crash. 1 lane was getting by as crews removed the wreckage and the road was completely open just after 8 PM. I was a bit of a distance away when the crash was reported but I was able to catch the tow truck as it rolled back into the tow yard.
