Around 1 AM this morning Boston police & EMS officials headed to Ellis and Thornton Streets for a reported shooting. Upon arrival they located a male victim in the middle of the street suffering with a gun shot wound to the back. Boston EMS packaged the victim for transport to the Boston Medical Center with what is said to be non-life threatening injuries. No suspect has been taken into custody at this time. More information will be posted as it becomes available.
